WHAT TO EXPECT AT ALPHA
The Alpha course provides a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to explore the big questions of life and what Christianity has to say about them.
FIRST UP THERE'S FOOD
Food has a way of bringing people together. It’s no different at Alpha. We start with providing you with a free catered dinner to encourage community and to get to know one another.
THEN A VIDEO
The videos are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Generally 30 minutes long, the videos explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith?
FOLLOWED BY DISCUSSION
Probably the best part Alpha: the discussion time is a chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic and simply discuss it in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything. And there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly, and open environment.

WHAT IS AN "ALPHA LAUNCH PARTY"?
Our Alpha Launch Party is an opportunity to learn more about the Alpha Course, share a meal, and participate in a fun event together, with an opportunity to register for the full course after you have learned more.
WHERE IS THE ALPHA COURSE HELD?
This year, we’ll be hosting both the Alpha Launch Party and the 8-week Alpha course on Tuesday evenings in the Fall and Winter at our Church of the Savior campus in Room F101 starting at 6:45 pm!
The Alpha course is being run all over the globe, designed for people from any culture, background or religion to come and have a conversation about life and faith.

WHAT DOES THE ALPHA COURSE COST?
The course is free!
DO I HAVE TO COMMIT TO COMING EVERY WEEK TO SIGN-UP?
No need to fully commit to the entire course when you sign up. We recommend that you try it out for at least three weeks before you decide whether to continue the course or stop attending .
