women

Our joy is to connect women of every age and walk of life to a place where you can thrive in your relationship with God through community. We love that many of our groups are intergenerational, where stories are shared across generations that offer opportunities to connect in organic relationships.
We provide a variety of Community Groups and encourage everyone at COS to find a group where they can be known. These small gatherings exist to engage people in authentic relationships and create an environment that fosters spiritual growth through application of the Scriptures and doing life together.

For those who enjoy Bible studies, you might also consider our Joy and Free Friday studies, large group gatherings that are more structured with teaching, and provide additional connections with other women.

Our hope is that you’ll find a place to connect through authentic relationships that spur you to become more and more like Christ. Please contact Women's Director Deneen McDonald with any questions about groups or studies.

Women praying against human trafficking

Every third Thursday of the month from 8:00 to 9:00 am, join us as we pray for the physical, emotional and spiritual rescue of those coerced into the human trafficking industry. Contact Debby Dunn for the Zoom link or more information.

Prayer Warriors,
I want to thank you for your prayer diligence this past year for the Trafficked, Abused and Vulnerable.
As we break for the summer I want to encourage each of us to stay in earnest prayer as we commit to making a difference. Perhaps you would like to continue to set aside the third Thursday morning each month to pray for these precious souls. I have found it helpful to pray through Psalm 9, 10 and 40 when at a loss or burdened with the heaviness of the current events of abuse.
Have a joyous summer, Debby
