Our joy is to connect women of every age and walk of life to a place where you can thrive in your relationship with God through community. We love that many of our groups are intergenerational, where stories are shared across generations that offer opportunities to connect in organic relationships.
We provide a variety of Community Groups and encourage everyone at COS to find a group where they can be known. These small gatherings exist to engage people in authentic relationships and create an environment that fosters spiritual growth through application of the Scriptures and doing life together.

For those who enjoy Bible studies, you might also consider our Joy and Free Friday studies, large group gatherings that are more structured with teaching, and provide additional connections with other women.

Our hope is that you’ll find a place to connect through authentic relationships that spur you to become more and more like Christ. Please contact Women's Director Deneen McDonald with any questions about groups or studies.
This is a FREE event, but we ask that you please REGISTER yourself and any guests by November 28th.

Simply Still is our theme for the women’s Christmas event this year! This event will offer us time to pause to reflect on God’s gift to us as we gather to enjoy the wonder of the season through friendships, music, activities, holiday brunch treats and more. We’ll also hear an inspirational message from one of our COS leaders, Tamara Crump.

In the spirit of giving back, we invited Grounds for Restoration, COS’ new coffee provider, to serve a variety of their coffee flavors. And, for those of you with coffee lovers on your Christmas giving list, bags of their organically grown, fair-trade, premium roasted coffee will be available for purchase. GFR donates 100% of its profits to anti-trafficking and restoration programs like Worth It (Worthwhile Wear).

Hope to see you there!

What Is Worth it?

Worth It is a series of classroom experiences designed for women who have experienced sexual trauma from exploitation, trafficking or prostitution. The goal is to help participants connect with area service providers, maintain sobriety, and ultimately break the cycle of exploitation. The program covers twelve full-day sessions over a period of 4-5 weeks.
