WORTH IT
Serve Women Survivors of Sexual Exploitation.
COS is a host for Fall and Spring Worth It sessions. We serve Christ as we serve our Worth It participants. Join us in this effort to bring the light of Jesus to hurting women. Each session takes over 400 volunteer hours. Your help is greatly needed and appreciated.

MOMCO (MOM COMMUNITY)
For Heritage School Moms.
Do you ever feel like your pilot light has gone out? Like the spark that once fueled your passion, clarity, and energy has been dimmed under the mental load of motherhood? We want to care for you. Join us for a unique opportunity to connect, engage, and build a strong community with other moms.
We meet one Wednesday morning a month. You can talk with other moms while relaxing with a cup of coffee. We will engage in meaningful discussions around the theme "Wild Hope." And there is complimentary nursery for young children.
(MomCo is a non-profit organization that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church.)

"Prayer lays hold of God’s plan and becomes the link between His will and its accomplishment on earth. Amazing things happen, and we are given the privilege of being the channels of the Holy Spirit’s prayer." - Elizabeth Elliot (1926 – 2015, Christian missionary in Ecuador)
BOOK STUDIES

JOY IN THE EVENING
Book: Never Too Late
Start date: May 21 -June 11 (4-Week Study)
When: Wed, 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Where: Room A110/112
Never Too Late is full of practical and biblical wisdom to guide parents trying to reach their adult children for Christ. The four biblical principles outlined in this time-tested resource have been honed at the popular Never Too Late conferences organized by Visionary Family Ministries. Most importantly, this book has been an encouragement for parents desperately wanting their children to have deep faith and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Writing with compassion and honesty, pastor Rob Rienow shares a powerful message of hope for a prodigal: it’s never too late to point an adult child’s heart toward God. The mission of parenting doesn’t end after our children become adults. We have been overwhelmed with the number of people we have met around the country who are hurting because their adult children are struggling in their faith…or who have rejected faith all together. Never Too Late will encourage and inspire you with biblical principles to build a closer relationship with your adult children and give you practical ways to encourage faith in their hearts.

leadership workshops
April 26, 2025. Welcome Center. 9:00 am.
Women’s Ministry Leaders and Potential Leaders are Invited to: Strengths Assessment Interactive Workshop 2.0 (Back by Popular Demand!) with a delicious Lunch Included! Come as early as 8:30 am for a cup of coffee and some fellowship in the Welcome Center. We will dive right in at 9 am.
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10).
We pray we will be strengthened by the joy of the Lord to be on mission to make disciples as we learn about the strengths God gifted us and the women in your ministry teams. Prepare for interactive discovery with a short time spent on your individual strengths and an emphasis on collaboration in teams. Pastor Drew Angus (a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and Facilitator) will lead us in interpretation of our strengths and educate us about strength-based teams for effective leadership. We’ll learn things like: Who would I naturally partner with? Who do I turn to for help? What are the combined strengths of my team? Beforehand, please go online and take the Clifton Strengths Assessment and email results to Wendy Walters at women@coswayne.org so Drew can prepare the information prior to our learning.
