Nursery Sunday Ministry
The Nursery is a safe, caring, and fun environment where our dedicated volunteer teams share Jesus' love with infants, crawlers, and toddlers. Our goal is to help your child learn as early as possible that Jesus loves them and to enjoy coming to church each Sunday!
9:00 am and 10:30 am Ages 4 - 35 months.
We provide age-appropriate rooms during each service. Infants and crawlers play and snuggle, while listening to kid-friendly music and books that tell them about Jesus. In our toddler classes, we teach a Bible lesson, sing worship songs, color, pray, and play with hands-on lesson-based activities.

2024 Summer Camps
In 3 of 4 Gospel accounts Jesus says, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God." Inspired by His words, COS maintains a Kids Camp Scholarship Fund, which makes it possible for ALL children (preschool to 7th grade) to attend camp regardless of the cost.
This fund serves families in and around our community, who struggle to send multiple children to camp. It also supports kids from several City Ministries, who can only attend because of our scholarships. Help us reach our goal of providing 60 scholarships ($30,000) by giving to our Kids Camp Scholarship Fund! Every $500 worth of donations sends 1 child to camp!

9:00 am and 10:30 am – Age 3 to age 5 / Kindergarten kids are invited to join their own aged class, led by caring and committed teachers. As kids go through the spiritual journey of learning God’s Word, Sunday Preschool hour includes learning activities like relevant Bible lessons, worship songs, age-appropriate crafts, and games. Check-in happens in the classrooms.

9:00 am – Grades 1-5 kids are invited to join their own graded class, led by caring and committed teachers. They will enjoy games, crafts, relevant bible lessons, songs, and small group discussions/prayer times. Kids are introduced to God’s heart for the world, and to global partners serving Him, and encouraged to participate in occasional projects. Check-in happens in the classrooms.
10:30 am – Grades 1-5 kids start out in the service with their families. Prior to the sermon, 1st – 3rd graders are dismissed to join in a large group Kids Church. AWANA at COS is a Bible-based evangelism and discipleship ministry for ages 3 to 5th grade. It gives kids the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus, no matter their background. Join us for interactive Bible teaching, small study groups, exciting games & activities for ages 3 through grade 5!
