Student Ministry

We are FAMILY.
In Student Min, we love each other like family. We love others because God first loved us. As we grow together in relationship with Jesus Christ, we learn how to better serve one another and reach those who are lost and searching. We seek to grow God's family of believers and to equip students to lead the way in building God's kingdom in their communities.

Schedule

Sunday Youth: 9:00 to 10:15am in C200. Middle and High School students will gather for a brief time of fellowship followed by a message from the scriptures and prayer.

Youth Group: Wednesdays, 6:30 to 8:30 pm (open gym until 9:00 pm) in Building F. Middle and High School students are invited to come out on Wednesdays to put their Faith in Action! Most weeks are focused on in-depth small group discussions based on Sunday's message, but some weeks have Faith in Action or Block Parties. Faith in Action nights are designed to stretch and strengthen students' faith. Oftentimes, we will be going into the local community after meeting together at the church. Block Parties are events that are especially for new visitors. Students are encouraged to bring a friend to Block Party -- and definitely BE there, because they are SO much fun! Please make sure you are on the parent email in order to stay in the loop.

What to Expect if You're New: we LOVE visitors! If you are coming for the first time, we hope you will quickly feel at home and make new friends.

On Wednesdays, when you come to the gym, you'll sign in at the Kiosk. Then, you'll be introduced to an adult leader who will be your small group leader for the night. Your leader will introduce you to other students around your grade who will help you navigate the night's activities. Most nights, we start with fellowship and fun and then move into a time of small group discussions. While in small group, we share about our weeks, pray over one another's needs, and talk through a few discussion questions based on Sunday morning's lesson. Bring a Bible if you have one, but don't worry if you forget. We have plenty to share!

On Sundays, you'll sign in, eat some breakfast snacks, enjoy a large group game, and then settle into for a biblical teaching. Just like Wednesdays, we will match you up with a leader and/or student who can be with you throughout the morning. You can bring your Bible, or use one of the provided copies.
