Glorifying God through music and worship as the body of Christ.
Through offering traditional and modern worship music styles, facilitating communion, and celebrating baptisms and dedications, we seek to call God's church to our primary purpose: worship.
Traditional Service
Our Traditional Service meets at 9:00 AM in our sanctuary and is led by our choir and orchestra. Here, we sing the rich classic hymns of our faith with a splash of some contemporary music.
Traditional Service Choir
Our choir is made up of individuals from all backgrounds and varying levels of experience. We strive to make choir a meaningful and enriching experience for everyone, regardless of the extent of your musical background. With the same melody, rhythm, and word, we experience worship together in unity, encouraging our church to do the same. No musical training or expertise is required. We rehearse on Thursdays from 7-8:30 PM in the Sanctuary. For more details, contact Diana Postevka.
Special Events Choir
The Special Events Choir leads worship at services and concerts such as Easter and the Christmas Concerts. It’s a short-term commitment, with rehearsals scheduled in the weeks leading up to each event. While some musical or choral experience is helpful, the most important qualities are a heart for worship and a willingness to serve. To stay connected about upcoming opportunities, contact Diana Postevka.

Kids Choir
The COS Kids Choir is open to all children in Kindergarten through 6th grade and meets weekly on Tuesdays from 5:15–6:15 PM in Room F101 during the school year. This ministry is rooted in our desire to help children grow in their love for God and music. The choir is led by Rachel Postevka, a gifted and passionate music educator with over 19 years of experience teaching children.
Through Kids Choir, children discover the joy of music while learning how to joyfully lead others in worship. They sing in Sunday services, at the Christmas Concert, on Easter Sunday, and more! To join, simply fill out the registration form or contact Diana Postevka.

Orchestra

Our Orchestra is a group of volunteer musicians who help lead worship at the 9 AM Traditional Service one to three times per month, depending on availability.
To participate, musicians should have strong proficiency on their instrument. The orchestra holds four seasonal rehearsals each year in preparation for upcoming services and events. For more details, contact Diana Postevka.

Student Orchestra & Band
We gather middle and high school band and orchestra students to develop musical talent, serve the church through worship, and grow as disciples of Jesus. Students should be at an intermediate skill level on their instrument to participate. For more details, contact Diana Postevka.
Modern Service
Our Modern Service meets at 10:30 AM in our sanctuary and is led by our modern service band. Here, we sing modern songs of praise while still incorporating timeless hymns from week to week.
Modern Band
If you sing or play electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, keys, drums, or even instruments like violin, cello, flute, etc. and would like to explore serving with us, we would love to chat. Players must be proficient on your instrument and play from chord charts. Singers need the ability to harmonize by ear. We rehearse Wednesday nights in the Sanctuary.

Student Band

If you are in middle school or high school and would like to join our Student Ministry band on Wednesday nights, we would love to connect with you. Please email studentmin@coswayne.org.
Audio Visual Team
The AV team plays a vital role in creating an immersive worship experience by ensuring high-quality sound and seamless camera work throughout each service. Their behind-the-scenes dedication allows our community to join in worship both in-person and online via our website, YouTube, and Facebook livestreams.
