As we pursue our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ in Wayne and beyond, we strive to follow Jesus' example by leaving our comfort zones and looking for opportunities to share God's love with those who need it most. Through the ministries at COS, there are many ways to grow and to help others grow in living out our faith. Whether by helping a child or student learn about God's love or by showing that love through teaching English to immigrants or leading a group with Celebrate Recovery, all of us have a unique part to play in God’s mission.
We all have a place where we can contribute our time, immense talents, and abundant treasure –

core Ministries
Alpha Ministries
Alpha ministries provide tools to help you reach your family, friends, and neighbors - the "ones" God has put in your life - with the truth of the Gospel. We are looking for those who are willing to serve during the Alpha and Rooted courses offered in the fall and spring. We need people who are willing to lead small group discussions to create a safe and welcoming space for people to explore what Christianity is and how it can change their lives. If you're not drawn to leading a small group, we can also use help with set-up, dinner service, and clean-up each week.

Community Groups
Community Groups nurture growth and accountability by providing a smaller group setting to build relationships and study the Bible. Our community groups meet at various times and locations. The majority of our groups are sermon-based groups and provide a safe place to discuss and personally apply lessons from the Bible.
We are always looking for those who are willing to lead a community group. If you're interested in learning more, click I WANT TO SERVE! or contact communitygroups@coswayne.org.
