Summer is better when we’re together! While our normal English Conversation Classes are on break, we’re still going to meet up for language games and conversation practice twice a month. If you're interested in coming to learn or coming to serve, we'd be glad to have you! (August 8 will take place in B201)

Welcome, English language learners of all levels! Registration is open for the 2026-2027 year. Classes are free, and you may join us at any point during the year!

Are you a new student?
You will be assessed on your first day to find the level that's right for you!
Intro Level
The Intro Level gives students with no English a foundation for communicating in their new country and to develop further skills in English. Some students may be learning the English alphabet. Students will learn how to read, write and pronounce correctly English words and simple sentences. Greetings, helpful phrases, and giving information are part of the daily conversation practice.
Level 1
Level 1 is for students who are able to read and write basic words in English, although they may not know the meaning of the words. Level 1 students are able to verbally answer simple questions. Level 1 teaches introductions and conversations about self, family, and everyday activities and objects. Basic present, past, and future tenses are presented.
Level 2
Level 2 is for students who are comfortable using simple present, past and future tenses. Level 2 students are able to verbally answer a variety of questions and understand up to 50% of what is first said to them. Level 2 continues conversation about everyday activities including shopping, eating out, making appointments, giving opinions, discussing plans and offering help.
Level 3
Level 3 is for students who are comfortable using both simple and continuous present, past and future tenses as well as a variety of adverbs and comparatives. Level 3 students are able to verbally answer most questions asked to them and understand up to 75% of what is first said. Level 3 practices conversation about past experiences and future plans, asking for favors, making recommendations, and talking about schedules, intentions, and obligations.
Level 4
Level 4 is for students who are familiar with phrasal verbs and gerunds, proficient in all of the simple tenses, and are able to identify and correctly use continuous present and past perfect tenses most of the time. Level 4 students are able to verbally answer nearly every question asked of them and understand up to 90%-95% of what is first said. Idioms, current events, and public speaking are covered.
We have two Level 4 Classes:
Level 4 A is for advanced students who are newer to our ESL program. Level 4 B is for advanced students who have completed one year in our ESL program.
